8/19/04 Big Brother 5 - Episode #19

Live show - on the fly recap - will begin as soon as I start watching.....

Recap of Adria's nominations......  Hgs mad at them.... Diane playing both sides.... Diane and Drew's romance... Adria wins Veto.. Adria does not use Veto...

Julie then recaps the nominations.... then introduces the two "stong alliances" and shows Diane flip flopping between then.

We see Will telling Diane how Adria "pinky swore" to him she would not vote him out - we then see the flash-back showing just that.
 

Diane explains to the camera that she is stuck between the two alliances...  she hopes Adria has to break a tie so she does not have to pick a side.  DIane relates how Drew spent an extra 45 minutes in the HoH with Adria and Natalie one night - that it made her paranoid - then she saw Natalie and Marvin talking late at night - another thing to make her paranoid.  On to more - we see DIane telling Will that the twins think she is with them.  Diane asks Marvin about the late night conversation - all Marvin is seen saying is that he thinks Adria is on a power-trup.

Then we see Drew and Michael talking about Diane - Michael telling Drew that Diane needs to go for his sake.  Diane talks to Drew and tells him she is stuck in the middle - asks him how he handled it - he didn't really answer but Diane goes on to say that she is tired of being stuck in the middle - she implies she wants Will to stay - Drew won't tell her how she is voting.  Adria comes in and Diane says "put me up next week."

Back to the studio - Julie talks live to the HGs and asks a few questions....

Karen - without Jase the house is clean and not sticky.
Diane - hates PB&J and will never eat it again.
Michael - biggest fasion advice from housemates is to be clean shaven and spikey hair.
Jennifer - I'd give my right arm for a day out of the house.

Julie tells he she might get a day out of the house - she reveals the America's Choice - where one will win a walk on role on Young and Restless (details here).

Then a brief set of comments from HGs in the diary room.

Karen - Having Will on the block is hard - could continue with out Will but don't want to.  One of the ugliest nominations yet.

Drew - Marvin is a good player - a threat - scrared of WIll because of his alliance - If Will stayed another week he would win the trust of Will, Jenn and Karen (sounds like he was cut off before he said "but")

Natalie - Trust for WIll has diminished...... Marvin in his own state - hard to tell where to go with him and trust....

As I guessed we get to see a brief segment on Will - his friends talking about him.

Julie interviews Adria.

Adria... I have learned a lot this week - maybe my team was not as strong as I thought it was - I feel like its up to me to make the decision myself (by getting a tie) - she feels like Natalie has suffered backlash from the nomination and thats not fair.  She will be rooting for Natalie to get the HoH tonight.

More Diary Room Comments...

Diane - would like to see Marvin stay just to put up people she wants out - she likes will - he is trustworthy - it sucks to have to choose between them.

Jennifer - Hard to trust Marvin..... Will is willing to sacrifice himself for the good of the cause...

Michael - Will has a huge alliance - to take him out would be good for him (Michael)

Julie talks to the nominees - they both say a couple words - nice stuff - nothing mean said.  Marvin does a "vote for me" dance.

Live voting begins...... each HG goes into the Diary Room

Michael is first - Votes to evict Will
Karen is next - Votes to evict Marvin
Jennifer - Votes to evict Marvin
Natalie - Votes to evict Will
Drew - Votes to evict Will
DIane - Votes to evict Marvin

A tie....  Adria will have to break it.  But first a

Julie reveals the tie to the HGs - Adria is to cast the vote to evict...

She says she could not choose between them - says all kinds of nicey nice stuff and then evicts Will - she says she tossed a coin in her head (umm- nope - this is who she has said she would evict most of the week).

Will hugs others and leaves.. telling Adria that is Karma is a boomerang he will see her sooner than later.  She looked like he was going to hug her but he seemed to keep her away.

In the house Adria says she is glad nobody else was put in the position she was this week and she thinks the house will be better for what she did the next few weeks.  No one answers her.
 

Back outside - Julie talks to Will - he repeats his statement to Adria about Karma - Will says he felt he really went to bat for her when she was nominated - now he says she assured him he was safe - then cast the vote to get him out. Julie brings up the "pinly swear" - he says yeah and says that he will always be mystified - his advice to the other HGs is to take into account what she did - he thinks she may be joining him soon. Again Will talks about how he had always supported the twins - then talks about how she said "Jesus" spoke to her in the HoH room and then nominated the two 'minorities' (yikes - he throws out that card!!!).

Will watches the 'goodbyes' - he likes all of them except the one from Adria - he acts like its a vampire - he ends up crying after Karen's farewell.

Julie says they will see him back September 21st where he will help crown the winner.

blah blah blah from Julie - then we see the HGs - they are all just talking about the HoH competition....  Adria does not look happy (of course).   Thats about all they showed.....
