So many houseguests -
so little time. How to get the numbers down.
8/17/04 In a conversation
last week with another houseguest, Will said that he was told the show
would end on Sept. 25th. Thats a Friday so the exact date may not
be correct but it does bring one thing to light. If there is only
one eviction each week - and two in the final week (or rather one eviction
and then the vote between the final two), there would still be 3 houseguests
left on Sept 25th.
So how is Big Brother going
to eliminate another houseguest?
Some thoughts:
Buy
one off: Several of the houseguests have suggested they would
leave if the price was right. A couple of the HG's even said they
would leave For as little as $10,000.
Have a triple nomination/double eviction:
Throw in another 'twist' where the HoH gets to nominate three people and
two are evicted. This may be a bit of a reach since it would almost
assure the HoH the ability to get rid of two of his/her 'enemies.'
Have two quick evictions instead of one:
In previous Big Brothers the final week involves an early eviction and
then the final two do the interviews with the jury and spend a lot of time
twiddling their thumbs. By keeping more Hgs in the house longer things
might be a bit more interesting.
The Current BB Alliances
as I see them - details here.
At
some point allow the jury to vote off a houseguest: Wouldn't that be
a twist - letting the jury get paybacks by eliminating one contestant?
Any way you look at it there
still has to be a "twist" remaining this year in order to make the numbers
work out right.
