9/2/04 Big Brother 5 - Episode #24

The live show begins with a re-cap of Tuesdays show - showing nominations, the veto competition and Karen not using the POV.

The we see Adria talking to Karen - expressing her disgust with the other HGs for the way she feel she was disrespected in the veto ceremony.  We see diary interviews - in one Diane says that they refer to Adria as the plague.  They also comment on how Adria has really been working on Karen - looking for votes.  We see just that as Adria tries to get Karen to come to her side and save her.... then she goes to Drew - and Adria bashes Diane - talking about trust - Drew admits that Diane can be a b**ch at times.

We see Adria talkign to herself in the back yard - showing how everyone is avoiding her - for what its worth - Adria contributed to the way she was ignored with her attitude and her basic refusal to talk to some of the other HGs.  The clip shown was from Tuesday I think - yesterday she spent a lot of time alone as well and BB shut off her audio so we could not her what she was saying to herself.

Julie then interviews the HGs - Julie congratulates Karen on her POV win.  Michael says thank you for America's Choice and the call.  Drew talks about how making it on his own outside the house will be easier because of his experiences in the house.  Jennifer says it was pretty easy to quite smoking.
 

Julie then reveals to the audience (but no the HGs) that 2 people will be eliminated this week. Diary room sessions....  what the Hgs feel about the nominees....  Karen - Adria is a good player, Michael is a stool pidgeon, Adria has burned some bridges but Michael is a 'snitch' - she see the playing field even between them. Diane - Adria is the most competitive person - Michael is mature about being on the block - Adria is hypocritical about trash talking.

A segment on Marvin working his game....  he plants a kiss on Diane - an innocent peck - but Michael see it and reports it back to Drew.  Drew corners Diane on it and she doesn't even remember it - (Michael portrayed it as more of a kiss than it was)  - Diane says 'maybe a couple weeks ago....'  - Drew continues to grill her (not shown - the fact that Diane had also kissed Scott - the first week - brought up by Drew as well).  Drew brings DIane to tears and then says he was joking.  (Also not shown - Diane has claimed to be moody because, accoring to her, she is 'pmsing').  Drew brings up trust - she broke his trust but she has it back.

Then we see Michael talking to Diane and Diane wants Marvin out.

Now an interview with Marvin......   Marvin says...  Wanting Adria out because of strategy - she is strong.  I have kinda joined forces with Diane - hopefully she has pulled me in with her too.  I don't trust her very much though.

Diary room comments -

Drew - To lose Michael makes me unsure of where I stand - Adria keeps he promises - keeping her longer means no target on my back.

Jennifer - Adria is strong - Michael is trying to lay low - Adria breaks a group promises and then gets mad for being called on it.

A visit to the Jury House.....

Will has been enjoying himself - but after seven days wakes up to rain - wonders why - then we see Natalie arrive.  Will hugs her - tells the camera they will be alone for a week.  Natalie tells the camera that the hug was genuine - Will tells the camera it wasn't for him - he won't forgive them for what they did to him.  Will and Natalie watch highlights of the previous week - watching Natalie getting evicted.  Natalie tells will to his face that its kinda like Charles Manson - getting others to so his dirty work - Will tells her thats kinda weird.
 

Back to the BB house - HGs plead their cases... same ole same ole.... Voting......  Jennifer - Adria (she holds up a pinkie - reminding us Adria broke the 'pinkie swear') Drew - Adria Karen - Adria Diane - Adria

Adria evicted 4-0

Adria hugs Michael - Hugs Karen - heads to the door.........  Adria wishes them all well - tells them she learned a lot about who she does and doesn't want to vote for this week - she says it also counts for Natalie.....

Marvin lets her have it - says he thought she and Natalie were two seperate people - they exchange a lot of words - Marvin won't let her just walk out  - calls her on her attitude.  Wow - the most fireworks I have ever seen when someone left and I thought it was going to be so calm and cool.

Back to Adria and Julie - Julie says that thats the biggest exit in all 5 years of BB.

Adria - Michael, Drew and Karen have her vote.  She wasn't surprised to be evicted back to back (neither was I - I think I pretty much predicted it) with her sister.

Goodbyes from the HGs - Michaels was very nice - as was Karens and of course Drews....  the others were more 'matter of fact.'

HoH competition........  Marvin can't participate.  This is nothing like the practice they had.

Its a simple true/false contest - with pretty chemical colors to verify t/f

Marvins job in Margaritta madness was to put ice in glass - all true

Hula Hoop contest - Scott eliminated Mike?  False - Jennifer eliminated.

Rope veto competition was the first?  False - Diane eliminated.

Will won a set of underwear in the Christmas Vero?  True - all right

Lori was the 1st HG to land a chicken in a basket in the food comp?  True - Michael eliminated.

Scott won pizza in the soup competition?  False - Karen eliminated - Drew wins HoH.

Julie talks to the group.....  Drew hopes for a letter from home for making HoH.

Julie tells them the motto is do not assume - she tells Drew he will nominate people tonight... someone eliminated Saturday - 2 people total eliminated this week.

Elimination show Saturday...
