| Snee | Saturday, August 18, 2001 - 10:38 pm wcv, "emprisionner" is such an ugly word. rabbit, please explain again how our plan benefits EVERYONE and how it is so noble as to nobel-worthy. i feel soooo misunderstood (and not just because my french isn't as pretty as babel french) and am on the edge of bunkying. |
| Snee | Saturday, August 18, 2001 - 10:40 pm *nonchalantly tosses a 'be' into her previous post* BREAKING NEWS: bunny's mojo is missing! i think we should band together and find it (as it is probably cold and frightened by now) before continuing our 'misunderstanding'. |
| Mahrajah | Saturday, August 18, 2001 - 11:50 pm hey man leme enjoy the effect shes havin on me, lol... |
| Rabbit | Sunday, August 19, 2001 - 12:39 am BREAKING NEWS!!! CIA’s ENTRANT IN BB2 HAVING SUCCESSFUL FIELD TEST (Langley, VA.) – In exchange for cooperation in their upcoming series “The Agency”, CBS agreed to allow the CIA to test their Neutralizing Infiltration Cyberbot (NIC) in the controlled environment of the BB2 house. Originally designed to infiltrate and neutralize Khmer despot Pol Pot, that target became non-strategic before the NIC was ready to deploy. In action the NIC cooks, cleans, nags, massages, cries, shaves and kisses butt until in a weakened state of dependency the target breaks down and submits to total subjugation to the NIC unit. In the final stages of attack the target will weep uncontrollably, obey commands against his will, sit to urinate and finally willingly turn himself into CIA headquarters to beg for torture and termination. After a slow start in the first week the CIA switched to their “Delta” team of controllers who were running their other joint CBS-CIA Cyberbot project. Unfortunately this has caused a slump in project “Tiger” who is 8 shots off the lead after the third round of the PGA. |
| Tntitanfan | Sunday, August 19, 2001 - 07:55 am Rabbit, you crack me up!! |
| Rabbit | Sunday, August 19, 2001 - 09:58 pm Rabbit again attempts to retire from posting but not before I thank those of you who have made the last week so fun. One week ago was essentially the first time I had ever posted on-line. I saw Smrtass’ thread and thought she and it were so clever I wanted to try a post. Zed encouraged my very first post and then I ignorantly proceeded to take the thread somewhere else entirely. My sincerest apologies to Smrtass. Thank you Zed, Spy_girl, Moondance and Windy71 for your encouragement and thank you Zed and Snee for your support in taking on the alphanumeric cyber entity - Wcv63, Tnttitanfan and the other Free Rangers. Thanks again to Bunny for playing along. Now for all you analysts of human behavior I leave you a little gift of my addicts confession. The rest of you should stop reading. -------------------------------------- Posting this week has been an escape from the convergence of mountainous business, home and family upheaval. Rabbit is me 30 years ago. An acne covered sixteen year old, too young to be a senior in high school but there I am. My brother is a Marine in Vietnam and our family has come to recognize that this is no cause worthy of him to die for. In our integrated school the brothers are feeling Black Pride and stand at closed fist defiance during the National Anthem. I am proud of them, but I am white and firmly seated, head bowed, where I shall remain until my brother is home and then after that, until the war is over. Everything is so real that it becomes unreal. I have friends and we write satire for an underground school newspaper. It is the most confused and often unhappy but important of times, yet when I need to escape that smart ass insecure irreverent kid is what I have now chosen to be. Hmmmm. I certainly need no sympathy as I lead a privileged and blessed life. I bare my soul to embarrass myself so thoroughly that I can fight the urge to escape here instead of taking care of business 14/7 which is normally my strength. Mission accomplished. Goodbye. |
| Wcv63 | Sunday, August 19, 2001 - 11:30 pm Oh dear, Rabbit if your goal was to embarrass yourself you missed it completely. If anything you should be experiencing the complete opposite reaction. Thank you for sharing your addict's confession. I certainly understand the responsibilities of work, home, and family and I myself come here to escape and play with my cyber friends. I wish you the very best in your future endeavors and in the future should you feel the need to "escape" your cyber buddies will be excited to see you again. Vitesse au revoir et de Dieu |
| Moondance | Sunday, August 19, 2001 - 11:38 pm Please come back to play soon Silly Rabbit! |
| Snee | Monday, August 20, 2001 - 12:52 am silly rabbit, indeed! we're on the *ahem* bb board--WE LOVE CONFESSIONS! (hi, my name is snee and...) heck, you've gotta try lots harder to embarrass yourself because we're on the *ahem* bb board. still, if you really have to "participate" in real life rather than just watching it and posting, then we'll try to understand, but we'll miss you. zed and i will be without our curly. *sigh* first bunny's mojo, now rabbit! we've gotta hide our hares! don't go. |
| Snee | Monday, August 20, 2001 - 12:53 am *bunkying* |
| Tntitanfan | Monday, August 20, 2001 - 06:03 am I am blessed with a relatively carefree life, but still feel the need to come and "play" with others who enjoy fantasy and frivolity. This thread is one of my very favorites!! |
| Twiggyish | Monday, August 20, 2001 - 06:18 am Rabbit, I remember the Vietnam war, too. The casualties announced each night, became a daily part of the news. You are a great poster and I sure hope you stay. |
| Zed | Monday, August 20, 2001 - 10:36 am Rabbit: You are terrific and so is you alter-ego "Rabbit"!With the type of hectic lives we all lead,we all need to occasionally escape to keep our sanity. I too had never even been on a posting site until last week, and was instantly captured by your witty, urbane intelligent and irreverent posts. Thank you. I will continue here and hope "Rabbit" will find a few moments each week to pop by and give us a chuckle. Rock on Rabbit! |
| Tntitanfan | Monday, August 20, 2001 - 05:53 pm Couldn't have been said better, Zed! |

| Snee | Monday, August 20, 2001 - 09:40 pm i feel like bunky's...umm...snee. where's our rabbit? *blink blink* (grabs zed's martini during the tear-wiping distraction. tosses the cigs to monica.) |
| Tntitanfan | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 06:43 am Just not the same without Rabbit! If I were he, I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation to check back here to see what is happening, so maybe all is not lost - (sipping OJ, blotting tears) |
| Tntitanfan | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 01:04 pm Guess this thread is over. See you guys on some of the others!! |
