Krista was talking to Monica this morning and is planning only a one-night stand with Mike (I refuse to call him Boogie).

Here's the quote from the live feed posts:

"K: when I get out and he tells me he is still this and this to Will and I tell you this, one night and I'm gone. He's changed my life but I'm not going to settle, I know there is someone out there for me "

(Thanks again for the life feed posters!!!)

As much as I don't like Krista I don't think that she was saying that she was going to have sex with him once and leave.

You're right Floresmama. We're following each other around. :) I think she was saying she was going to give Mike a chance to explain himself for one night but she is beginning to believe he is not real. I think she was implying Mike changed her life by making her see things about people she previously had not seen. But then again, I could be wrong.

My impression from the Live Feed was that Krista has some idea that Mike may have "Played" her, and that if she goes to Belly's and finds out he did indeed "play" her, she would leave the next day, not hang around. I think that is a sensible way to look at it.

Whether we like it or not, Mike and Krista did have something going on... even if he was not sincere, she was... IMHO and she is going to make the time to see if he was sincere or not... and she will go on from there. I would do the same I believe... maybe.

As much as I didn't like Mike which is more than I don't like Krista I think he does(or did) really like her. How much the shanenigans she has pulled since he left have changed that we probably will never get to find out.

After going back and re-reading the lfps from the beginning, I have to say that I think Krista's a fool - she should give her daughter a big hug, and get right on a plane for Opalousas (?). If Mike truly felt anything, make HIM go to her. Because I doubt she'd ever see him in Louisiana ...

I agree Nutsy, but Krista IS NOT going to pass up a chance to party in some bar on Santa Monica blvd.

Remember, small town girl in a big city after being cooped up for 6 weeks...

OH LORD .. I do hope that Krista knows that the bar is in the Southern California's gay capital and that it is right next door to a few "drag" hangouts. Not as trendy, I assure you, as Beverly Hills.

Zagnut - can't the producers or a psychologist talk to her? Geeeeeeez.

Nutsy,

Good question, but from watching the LFs and listening to the stories of her nightly escapades, I don't think it will do any good.

Unbelievable! This thread's title is a bit tabloidish. I read the live feeds and really do not get the impression she is going to sleep with him -- yet this thread title makes that implication. *shaking my head*

I took this as Krista finally waking up to the fact that a lifetime romance does not bloom within a week in highly unusual living conditions. She does not want to admit to herself that she has been stupid, so she is setting this up to blame Mike. But then, she has always portrayed herself as the victim, with no real responsibility for anything that happens to her.

Macca - I got the same impression that Daplane did when Krista said "one night, and I'm gone." Given Krista's actions in the house thus far, why wouldn't I think that's what she meant?

What - agreed. Po' po' Krista ... *retch*

OK, I didn't read a one night stand into that but maybe out minds don't work alike. I took it that Krista is admitting that perhaps what she had with Mike wasn't true love and that she wasn't going to hang out in LA trying to make something out of nothing.

Nutsy, I don't think that Krista can give her daughter a big hug, as she is still at her dad's for two more weeks. I agree though that she should hop the first plane for Opelousas.

I feel it's a change for the good if she now doubts that he was for real. We are not able to really read anyone's mind, but if the things he said when in the DR are any indication of how he really thinks and behaves then she should check the internet before she sets foot in Bellys. I'm not saying she shouldn't go there but know what's up before she does.

You guys are a rough crowd. I was just giving my interpretation of what she said. If you take into account Krista's action while in the house and her "story" of her past, I still interpret it that way.

If you don't like the thread, then don't read or post to it. There are plenty other threads you can spend your time on.

And yes I do think one night stands are a bad thing.

It would be ludicrous to think that when we post our opinion, that we do not expect someone to disagree.

Why post at all, if you do not expect others to respond with their opinion?

No one is debating the poster, just the contents of that poster's post.. the opinion.

PS. Not everyone thinks that one night stands are a bad thing. I mean, we all have our own set of ethics and morals.

What ON EARTH did Krista see in Mike in the first place? Justin I understood because he had a bad-boy/thug kind of sex appeal. Mike's simply a pathetic weasel. The Mike/Krista thing makes me think it was specifically "plotted" by CBS/Shapiro after the Justin/Krista pairing backfired big time. Shapiro's leading lady needed a new leading man and since Will had Shannon, Bunky was gay, Kent was married and too old and Hardy only showed interest in her as a kid sister then Mike was the only one to go with.

I think that Mike's intentions were obvious to us and to Krista. Krista would have had a nice whirl with Mike had she been the winner. Mike pegged her as the sure thing and he made the special farewell video so that he could ride along with her on a victory publicity tour, promoting Belly's all the way. That would have been a good twist for Krista as well, sort of a Darva/Rick with a good ending.

She is facing reality. I am sure she will get short shrift from Mike.

I want Krista to stay more then ever, just to keep the house from getting boring.

If Krista is gone, Monica will be silent (I think) and then Nicole will be gloating at how she set it up.

I also think the guys are wimpy in that they cannot think for themselves. Or so they seem to be following Nicole even against their better judgement.

Krista has faced reality many times, and will do so again and again. At least she keeps hoping and hasn't lost faith in humanity. I give her thumbs up for Trying. As Monica told her, there are many that would like to do things, but they never take the initiative to even try. Hope is a wonderful thing for a fragile soul. Where would we be without it? IMO

"Hope is a wonderful thing for a fragile soul."

Maggie, what a nice saying. It's so true.
