First lemme say - when you mentioned the BBFC on the live feeds I was beeming.. this is my fav website online ... not sying it's the best everyone has their own personal opionon on that .. but it is my fav and I so appreciate you giving us a mention
However, while I understand you were in a game and it was JUST a game etc... you do seem to still be playing that game ... you are a bit of a celeb here of course and were treated with respect and civility here when you dropped by and took some of your valuable time to share your thoughts etc with us. I do appreciate that... I think you will notice from the posts in your Welcome thread that most of us do!
Since you probably haven't had time to read your personal folder in archive B yet.. lemme say - at first most were against the "homphobe" - then ... thing sreally changed and you were well liked of course... then well towards the end you seemed to do so much complaining and (I won't get into the rest) that well you weren't the house favorite.... LOL.
I think you've paid your dues.. you played a game - you did win a decent item (the car) and you don't HAVE to answer to anyone now really... but I think your feeling comfortable here now and I'd really like to see you kick up your feet - be "one of us" and be willing to answer some of the tougher Q's.. the ones peeps have been hesitant to ask because they wanted (understandably) to be respectful of a guest in our house.
So I'd like to open the floor here - in this thread for some of the tougher Q's... this is sooooo not a Kent bashing thread... lets ask our questions out of respect for the fact he doesn't owe anyone any explinations... also keeping in mind he's not perfect nor are any of us!!
Anyhow I'd like to keep Kent's welcoming thread - to just what it has been a thank you to Kent for taking the time to join us here... and if he'd like to join us in this thread when he find the time... this thread for the "tougher - but civil questions" |

Well, Kent, since you're still here, I'd like you to clarify some comment you made.
In your Friday chat you admitted you were the one who made the "you, me, and Bunky" comment to Hardy--which is exactly what Hardy said you did. When Nicole confronted you about it, you denied saying this. If the conversation happened as Hardy said it did, what was he lying about?
You also admitted you would tell anyone who asked that you wanted them in the final three. However, at the Monday meeting you accused Hardy of doing this. (There's no evidence that he actually did, BTW.) And you attacked him as if you were morally opposed to using this strategy. Since you were obviously lying as much as everyone else, don't you think your superior attitude is just a teensy bit hypocritical? |

Would be sort of hard for him NOT to admit it Whatsay since we all heard it plain as day on tv and on the feeds lol. But I do wonder the same as you do - why he took offense to Hardy's secret alliances when he (Kent) had or attempted to have as many of them himself...I understand it was all part of the game but Kent does still seem to hold Hardy responsible now outside the house for the actions they both took during the game.

My biggest question and perhaps you've answered it and I haven't seen it...
You didn't feel that he owed Mike anything for Mike going against what others wanted and not nominating you the first week... you said something like "does everyone who you didn't nominate owe you for the rest of the game" - or something to that effect. Yet you seemed to think that Nicole did owe you 4? weeks later for you not nominating her - did she owe all those who didn't nominate her to not vote them out or was this case different?
Anyhow for me it was just a game and whatever strategies and planning you played were no more "backstabbing" "lying" and so on then the rest are doing (cept maybe Bunky) the only reason I ask these questions is you did appear in chat to still look negatively at the others for their own strategy.
If you already answered this above just say "asked and answered" - and I'll dig to find it lol. |

I know a lot of people saw it as vindication when Krista said "Kent was right." But they ignored the rest of her statement. She said Kent was right about Hardy wanting to be in the final three with Kent and Bunky. In other words, Krista was wrong when she concluded Kent was right, because Kent admitted he was the one who said he wanted H/B/K in the final three, not Hardy.

I watch the live feeds on a regular daily basis, or should I say nightly basis, as I am on the east coast. I have seen more than just what Krista had to say. It is not just the words that have been spoken by the HG's but also many of the actions that Kent predicted. I am horrible at word for word things and I wouldn't even begin to try to site examples, I only know what I personally have observed. Vindication is a strong word for what I was saying, but that is only speaking for myself. Others may see it as you say, as vindication. I would never try to guess what the HG's are thinking as what they have been through and are going through is certainly life altering. But, (this is only my opinion, please no flames) I think once the dust has settled and all the tapes have been watched, the majority of the HG's will see what Kent was trying to convey to them as the truth. Some will never see it his way as they have their own "agendas"

What, kent has not been to the board since Monday morning, he has not even seen this thread.
I am going to move the kent threads to the "Discuss a HG" area under his folder. I will also e-mail him and let him know where he can find them.
I would not expect him to read or reply to any of them as if I were in his shoes I would want to NOT talk about BB for a couple of weeks.
But thats just me, I think he was more than generous coming here and posting as much as he did. And I hope he comes and visits again in the future, when he wants to and not before. |
