I am going to scream, HARDY WON
The ClubHouse: Big Brother Archives: I am going to scream, HARDY WON
| Peepaw | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 07:48 pm Hey the game isn't over till it's over. Everyone has a chance to win as long as they are still in the game. For those who think Hardy had an advantage he apparently sucked at the geography section. N,M,and W were talking last night about how he only got two states right. |
| Bbvoyeur | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 07:53 pm The game may not be over until it is over but I get the sense two thirds of the Stadium is leaving for home in the middle of the seventh inning. |
| Wcv63 | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 08:00 pm Oh well then I guess I'll be able to stretch out and take a few extra seats. I needed someplace to set my computer. |
| Llkoolaid | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 08:17 pm When I started this conversation I didn't entend it to be a Hardy bashing fest ( even though I don't care for him) My point was that with him winning hoh the show was going to be too predictable. I think it would have been much more fun to watch Hardy and Nicole put up. Does anybody really care who wins, they are all strangers to me and mean nothing, I just want some action. |
| Bbvoyeur | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 08:18 pm Shapiro would not be so stupid as to set Hardy to win HOH. Hardy as HOH this time is the worse possible choice for maintaining an interesting show. No, Arnie would not be that stupid. Or would he? He has shown a distinct lack of intelligence and common sense in: -selecting the HGs, -selecting their competitions, -giving them interesting things to do, -making good use of the internet, -dealing with banners, -taking advantage of product placement possibilities, -making the eviction shows interesting, - trying to make America think that the Edited is America's Sweetheart, -improving the ratings from last year, - and much, much more. On second thought Arnie actually is Edited enough to set Hardy up to win this HOH. <007> |
| Duchess | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 09:06 pm LOL BBvoyeur, I like your baseball game analogy, though I still have a "sort of" home field advantage with Will still in the house. |
| Snee | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 09:49 pm well, i'm going to get some peanuts. anybody want something? |
| Turtlegirl | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 10:07 pm ROFLMAO @ Bbvoyeur! Edited! Harsh, but amusing none the less. <007> |
| Hardywins | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 10:37 pm Hardy, Muscular, well toned with excellent hand/eye/muscle/everything co-ordination VS. Wil, Slim, geekish, bookworm, never played sports and never developed much hand/eye co-ordination nor self-discipline enough to control his own actions during times of crises competitions. VS Bunky, Mostlyintellectual who though intelligent, self laments that his parents would not let him participate in boy-type activities like slot car racing, video games, field sports where he might have developed better hand/eye co-cordination. His strength is his intelligence and the BB producers bent over backwards to make the contest lean heavily towards knowledge; using the toy cars just as a sight placemarker for the TV show. VS Monica - No comment. We definitely need a contest designed for Bunky to win like diagramming sentence structures or critiqueing creative writing. or a contest that Wil could win like memorizing all the details of 24 hrs of old sitcoms. Now that would be a contest that would keep them busy for a few days. Give each of them a TV, VCR and a stack of all the old I Love Lucy shows to watch and answer questions about. They have all their spare time from one HOH contest to the next to watch as many of them as they can. I love Lucy was originally on CBS. so it shouldn't be a problem. They might even be in the public domain by now. |
| Aloha | Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - 10:54 pm right on Buttercup!!!!!!!!!No one came in there to find their "soul mate"or make lasting friendships! It"s a game and the prize is mega bucks!!You can be a loyal friend or play to win the money, but you can't do both! The thought of Will screwing off all that money makes me wanna blow chuncks!Go Hardy, Bunky, and Monica!!!!!!LOL |
| Hypermom | Wednesday, August 22, 2001 - 06:01 am Oh, just please keep Will, the show will not be worth watching without him. I would gladly sacrifice Bunky and Monica for one Will! |
| Realfan | Wednesday, August 22, 2001 - 01:05 pm Thanks, Wcv63. Seems it's a case where an individual doesn't like to be disagreed with. His finally sally was to dub us "illogical" for disagreeing. Neither of us rattled on about Hardy's body, for goodness' sake. (Ravin accused anyone who disagreed with him of being a pre-teen girl, but I, for one, am 3 or 4 times as old as that, and proud of it! |
| Franny | Wednesday, August 22, 2001 - 02:15 pm With Hardy in HOH position it is predictable. |
| Studioblue | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 03:52 am Areil, thank you. You're a very kind person. Suddenly while reading this thread it occurred to me that possibly, the producers themselves loved to play with those little cars and so they incorporated them into the game. |
| Snee | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 07:55 am that's a good point, studio! i never thought of that. still, i think rc cars was pretty biased against monica particularly. too bad they didn't consider that kind of thing. (or did they? *evil raised eyebrow*) |
| Franny | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 08:05 am This is not some post about feminism, but Who would think that most girls would have ever played with remote control cars? I never would have wanted to, but both of my sons had them and were very good at manuvering them. Will didn't even try (do you think he needs ridilin for hyperactivity?) Bunky only did as well as he did because of patience and determination. This challenge was definately geared toward Hardy and Will. As boring as they were the trivia question challenges about each other was the fairest. At least it made them communicate to gain information from each other. |
| Beagle | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 08:10 am I have three sons, all of whom had remote control cars growing up. Will played with his car the same way my boys did with their cars... smash up derby! |
