| Serena | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 10:45 am This comment of Will's amused me no end: that when people watch the tapes and find out who took the food challenge money, they won't vote for that person if they're in the final two. If there's anyone who's going to be subject to the "what I said on tape" factor, it's Will. e.g. that Monica and Krista are the "two dumbest people" he's ever met, etc. etc. It may get him airtime now, but (hopefully!) kills his chances of winning. |
| Britchick | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 10:48 am I kind of think Will realises he probably won't win (though he still might you know, depends who he's up against) so he doesn't care so much (note that I didn't say he doesn't care *at all* because of course he does!). His comments about "you'll never win when people see the tapes" were funny - he was just feeling for once that he wasn't in the wrong so he was going to get the people who did take the money to confess. Note what he said later in the DR about how it shows that Hardy and Bunky aren't what they claimed to be. He was just enjoying making those people feel bad! |
| Eddiesleg | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 10:49 am I believe Will knows that he doesn't have a hope in hell of winning. (although...he IS starting to change his game plan slightly (eg. the Bunky scene) because he can't believe he's made it this far....and he may actually be able to win it all!) I think we will see some changes in him as he gets closer to the finish line. |
| Krystal | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 11:00 am I do think that comment was what made Hardy 'fess up. He hadn't realized (nor did the DR mention) that people outside would know. |
| Bernie | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 11:01 am The other night when he and Nicole were up late together, he was saying that he was in worse trouble than any of the others because he had really ragged on/trashed everyone in the DR. He knows that he's not going to win many votes, but perhaps he's hoping that his endearing young charm will pull him out of the flames - who knows with Will! |
| Webkitty | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 11:06 am Unless BB pulls out some twist soon to upset the apple cart, it is going to be Hardy and Nichole all the way. Will is not stupid and he knows this. Why he keeps bringing up the final two is beyond me, Hardy has made it clear that he will do everything in his power to make it him and Nichole in the end. It seems that Will is starting to really get on Nichole's nerves, he better be careful or he could be gone this week instead of Bunky. I hope not, but it seems that every time he talks strategy with Hardy or Nichole he digs himself deeper. Oh well....... |
| Aloha | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 11:10 am I think his DR confessions will probably come back to bite him in the butt, when all is said and done, for nominations sake, but will help his career after the show is over.LOL |
| Ewing2001 | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 11:21 am Because i still think that Will is "real" i believe he makes fun of everything. He might realise (or know) that most things are staged are only silly and he is supporting that without getting brainwashed but a kind of sarcasm. He is playing against CBS since Day 1. They had their own plans, but he uses the DR to entertain THEM, not the other way round. He's cool enough to convince LIVE in the feeds that he does everything only for his career and repeats that so often to make sure, that CBS can't censor that. For me that's very cool. He would even start an affair with Nicole and tell everyone LIVE that it was for the show. I guess that even his puzzle mania is a sign to work against CBS. While they want only 'action' of everyone he ignores that. I like Will and wish he could be a member of BBFC. I also have the feeling that he knows in the meantime that at the end he has no chance against the intriguing posse but maybe he hopes that HE HAS to win because it would be too risky for CBS to let the other half-actors win. That means he also has to play his own multiple role game. So in the "DR confessions" he still "plays" how to "play" different behavior. Very tricky. Mike must have whispered him a lot. |
| Summersun | Thursday, August 23, 2001 - 03:54 pm I think Will was just so thoroughly amused, shocked and proud with himself that he had not taken the money... that he was busting to find out who did. I think he got more pop out of not doing something everyone expected him to do than if he actually had taken the $5000.00. |
