I have to agree with the majority of posters. Hardy is just being plain ugly to Bunky. Besides what has been previously mentioned, he continually brings up the $5,000 as well. The continous gay comments are getting very old, very fast. I just cringe inside when I hear what Hardy says to Bunky. I never realized he does this to the one he wants out until you all pointed it out. Bunky is being quite the man though, for the most part, he keeps taking it and taking it. I'm sure he'll blow if Hardy keeps this up all week.

Hardy also is in full gear with his King of the Hill, BMOC, I'm the HOH and I've got the power attitude. He is saying things he wouldn't say if he was in a position of power - little snide remarks here and there - even directed towards Nicole. Nicole was about ready to eat him up and chew him out this afternoon before the competition. She walked out of the bathroom, after Hardy's remark about wanting a hot chick in the house, and sat on a chair in the living room with a disgusted look on her face. When Nicole is becoming tired of it, then we also have the right to be weary of it.

Realfan, you want to bias everything towards Hardy just as others want to bias things against Hardy. That would be a draw.

In the beginning, there was man.. oops, got off track for a minute - in the beginning, Hardy was beloved by most everyone on this board. I liked him, really liked him for a long time. However, his actions, behavior, and what comes out of his mouth has caused the "mob mentality." He's totally brought it on all by himself - don't blame us - blame Hardy.

See, I have a different take on the hot chick comment, too. When I read that on the live feeds, I laughed. Hardy was locked out of the HOH and talking to BB about when he'd be let back in, and said something like, "As long as you put a hot chick in there, too."

I scratched my head when Nicole was irritated by the comment. Surely, since she's married, she doesn't want Hardy lusting after HER--or does she?

As for the $5,000, Will ALSO brought it up during the food competition, saying if Bunky succeeded in moving a block, it would make up for last week.

I agree Hardy has flaws. He's human. He has a short temper and gets annoyed. He even has a tendency to pull away from and look for the bad in people he plans to evict. I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing, though, since it would be emotionally a very hard thing to kick people out of the house. It's a psychological defense mechanism that will probably bite him in the end.

That said, I STILL don't think he's as HORRIBLE as some do. I don't think very many people are! I just wish people would remember these are PEOPLE and not cartoon characters.

He lacks sense of humour!!

I liked Nicole teasing Bunky while reading the letter, saying the opposite of what Gregg was saying..."No, Bunky, you don't deserve to be the winner" but she said in a fun way (almost like Will's manner) but Hardy doesn't have that kind of humour and that rubs off the wrong way on many people, including me...

I have noticed before that when someone is about to get nominated, the other HG's seem to "manufacture" conflict with them. I assume this is to alleviate their own guilt at doing so, and have a "reason" (read justification) for their actions.

On a side note, I also find it interesting that sometimes posters seem just a little bit sensitive about various contingents on the board, hotly defending one or another HG. Above I think the Hardy fans were mentioned as well as the Kent fans. Whether sticking up for Hardy, Kent, Krista, or Will - I think we need to expect fans (this is a BBFan site) to come out of the woodwork to defend their own personal favorite. Rabid at times? Yep. Entertaining too? Yep. I love the fact that no matter which HG I might promote or mock, there is a large contingent that will take a vehement and often *very* passionate opposite stance.

What about when Nicole has been Snippy (Oh! never) Has Hardy have ever made the comment "Why don't you just go in the house and F*** off"? He would never speak to her that way, so why would he be so disrespectful to Bunky. Does he think Bunky deserves less respect than himself or Nicole. This is the pompous attitude I am speaking of. I started out watching this game and rooting for Hardy. I thought he was a great guy, but great guys don't deliberately try to humilate others. That is not what he has to do to win this game. He is just being a jerk.

OK... guess I should have posted on the live feeds, Hardy did go off to pout IMO. He immediately wanted to know if he could go in the house.... guess he doesn't care about food. Bunky obviously does not want all fats, he was joking. As far as the Will and Hardy comments about the 5000, Hardy does it as Bunky is pulling out a block in a tense moment which would upset Bunky. Will did it so as to build Bunky up. There is a difference.

As far as the snippy comment, Bunky doesn't get back in Hardy's face or really anyone's face most of the time... he tries to find a way to place the blame so that it does not fall on the other person. But... IMO at this point Bunky was told to get out of the sun by Hardy and he did... but I somewhat felt that he was pouting at that point as well.

I think Hardy "demonizes" the person to justify it in his own mind to some extent. He can't face up to what he is doing and take "credit/blame" for his own actions. The only person at this point he gives a break is Nicole... and I wonder how long that will continue to exist if Nicole starts riding his a$$ much more, about Lindsay, girls, etc.

And no... I never wanted Hardy to win because I always cheer for the underdog. But I didn't want Will to win either because he acts like a jerk... but that has changed. At least Will has the guts to stand up for his actions and admit they are wrong, even if he fails to change his ways.

And FWIW, I am not sure if I have ever known who I wanted to win, I just kept thinking that none of them deserved to win! :) I see good and bad in all of them. Hardy obviously is the group eye candy. And give me a few days and I will think of something nice to say about Will, other than I would rather him win than Hardy. :)

?tt forget the Juda's kiss... that was a disgusting gesture knowing that he wants Bunky out!

He's definitely "pompous" and uses Nicole shamelessly..."Get me some water..." "Give me a back rub.." "let's have some pillow talk..."
even when she was so...indisposed, and wanted to be alone. Not the sensitive guy, I think Will is more sensitive to a woman's need than Hardy is.

Good grief, Hardy is not "Satan Personified". Of course, he has to justify who he puts up for nomination. There are only four people in the nomination pool.

It makes a lot more sense than Krista's, absolutely ridiculous, I just pulled a key out of a hat number.

I know that Kent is revered, at the moment, because he has been nice enough to post on this board. Personally, I am not about to confer sainthood upon him. There was a lot of nastiness in Kent and it was often verbalized.

Mike Booger was just a moron and Shannon was a thoroughly creepy individual.

No one in this house is perfect.

Hardy may have been cast as the "golden boy"...which also paints an enormous target on his head. I still like Hardy and I am not going to stop.

Will is, pretty much, entertaining "pond scum". Too bad he has a distant Father and was raised by a live-in housekeeper.

I find it interesting as well, BBintervention. If the fans of the various HG's named their respective political parties, what do you think their names would be?

Methinks something like:

The Hardy Party (yes, it's obvious, but I like rhymes. Is that a crime?)
The Kent Coalition
Krista's Crusaders
Monica's Managers
Nicole's Knights (of the kitchen table)
Sheryl's Saviors
The Bunky Brigade
Will Town (in honor of Chill Town)
Mike's Tykes
Shannon's Shamans
Autumn's Followers (get it?..."fall/foll"? LOL!)
Justin's Justices of the Peace (I like irony, too! Who knew?)

Gouraphik, do not put Shannon and anything approaching "spirituality" anywhere near each other. This is a "nuts and bolts", or probably more likely, "teeth, nails, fangs, and venom" type of individual.

SFNative: "Will is, pretty much, entertaining "pond scum". Too bad he has a distant Father and was raised by a live-in housekeeper. "

What does this got to do with the game in BB2? Is your defense for Hardy so weak that you have to drag outside party into the forum.

Btw, who is Kent?

Very clever Goraphik. I myself am a part of the Handsome Hardy Party, the Kranky Kent Koalition, the Hunky Bunky Brigade, and I've even recently come out of the closet as part of the Will Will Win Town.

Guess no one party speaks directly to me. I vote soley on the issue of the moment.

Uhtrinity, what it "has" (as opposed to "got") to do with BB2, is that there are no blameless hamsters in this house. I am assuming that you were being facetious with your "Kent" comment.

Sfnative: How about answering the question about why drag Will's family into the forum.

Uhtrinity, everyones' family has been dragged into this forum at one time or another. I know that Krista's brother killed her father. I know that both Krista and Hardy's mothers died young. I know that Shannon was a military brat. I know that Nicole was raised in foster care (I believe her mother may have died young too). I know that Bunky has been verbally abused by the mayor of the town he lives in. I know that Kent and his brother grew marijuana behind the walls of their house. I know Autumn is an unwed mother. I know that Justin is a misogynist. I know that Monica had a life-threatening (because of weight loss) disease.

Some of this has come out in discussions and "live feed postings" on this board. Some of it has come out, because of internet postings.

The point is that all of this is "grist for the mill" when I, or any other poster, tries to make sense of the actions of the houseguests. To bad, if Will's family is examined. They are probably not too happy about it either.

Didnt want to start a new thread. I just heard Nicole and Hardy talking about the nominations. Nicole said to Hardy "did you put in the the culture thing" I am assuming she is talking about a diary room entry about the nominations. Does anyone know what she is talking about? Thanks.

Staging DR act. Who would that surprise?..Oh Boy, they are dumb...Too bad Kent or Krista didn't take advantage of HOH and seperate those two long ago...Oh I forgot they were promised protection!! SOMEHOW, ARNOLD..PLEASE make next HOH game of chance instead of skill, so Monica has a chance to upset this applecart.
