I think that was Kerr Smith sitting on her left. He's the guy from Dawson's Creek. On her right was Raven Symone from The Cosby Show. The most interesting fact is that Elizabeth Filarski from Survivor was supposed to be a judge. Do you think Krista bumped her??

Elizabeth was there (embarassed to say I watched it up to the into of the judges, but I wanted to see if Krista got to say anything). Sadly, she made the fashion choice of bad high school prom hair and a republican first lady dress, so she lost lots of her "cute" points. |

Krista also did an into-commericial with Usher and the host. It was too cute. Also the "sleeping" guy was a dashingly handsome young man from Dawson's Creek being quite silly as you can see in other screen shots where they are all laughing together. She was elegant and poised. She did very well. Her scoring was in line with the other guest and perform accordingly. I know Laken must have been beside herself to be there at an event she dreams of being in ... many 11 yr. old do. *smile* I even enjoyed the musical performances. I heard the Better Than Ezra song on when I went to pick my kids up from school today and it made me smile. I wish Krista and Laken and happy future filled with kinder people. She is proof that not all the world is without hope. She is trying the best way she knows how, she is taking steps with the opportunities to better their lives. Bravo Ms. Stegall! |

Aaronl5, this is a repost from Kjun's thread. There is another post from a news article (I posted the link here) that state the pageant is where she met up with Laken after her summer with her father.
BTW Kudos to Kjun!!! Can't wait for the photos!! I am so glad you got to pass a good time!!

Hi,
Just wanted everyone to know I'm back from Ray's Diner. I got plenty of pictures that I will be posting on a site. As soon as I have it up I'll post the link here. Krista looked very nice, Mike is not in yet, he is expected later tonight. We also asked her how Laken liked the Too Hype Video and she said that Laken loved it and she enjoyed the pagent so much because she got to hang out with LFO. We stood in Line for over an hour to get her autograph. Ray's was packed. So believe Krista has plenty of supporters here in Louisiana. Okay I'll be post that link as soon as I can. |
