I believe that banner, supposedly from Mike, was true and the number 7 meant 7 million viewers. While Bunky is off in some never, never, land where he thinks he will be doing commentary, Will doesn't believe it. I think Nicole, Hardy, and Monica are a little more in touch with reality too. Bunky is talking about Letterman, and Rosie. The only person Letterman had on, from BB1, was Jordan...because he couldn't believe they would throw an exotic dancer out of the house.

While Rosie has done numerous "Survivor" shows, I'm not sure that she ever had a BB1 guest on...and she should have had Eddie, because he grew up in her neighborhood.

Even the "Survivor" castoffs never get to sit on Letterman's chairs, he interviews them standing about 6 inches from the "exit" door.

Krista will always be able to brag that she was a judge at the "Miss Teen USA" pageant (she consistently gives low marks to blondes by the way), but her fifteen minutes are going to run out very soon.

I still can not believe that Hugh Hefner would consider putting "Toilet Woman" in his magazine. Men that buy "Playboy" like their spread sheets...warm and welcoming, hardly Shannon's personna. If the Earth didn't move, I hope that he locked up his toothbrush.

lol sfnative.....as far as playboy goes, I had a bf who subscribed to it and I totally changed my opinion of it once I realized that it was much more entertainment than it was pictorials, but (IMHO) any magazine that would feature Jerri from Survivor shouldn't have any qualms with putting Shannon in. If I were a guy, I wouldn't want to see either of them. :(

Bunky is just trying to put as positive a light on leaving as he can. A bit of rationalization when you know your fate is sealed is very common. People just want to put a good spin on things they have no control over. So, let him think that leaving now is better than 3rd place.

BTW, Myself I liked the calander pics I saw of Shannon, and would welcome a chace to see more.

Will told Nicole that he lied about what the banner meant, and that he couldn't figure out the code, so he made something up. He said he actually thinks the show is doing quite well. Will said he was only trying to stir things up by saying the ratings sucked. Of course, he could've been lying to Nicole about lying.

I think they're all going to be disappointed when they get out. I don't think BB2 will help any of them at all. They might even do better if they never even mention they were on the show.

Of all the HGs, Will's post-show game plan makes the least amount of sense. He's crafted an evil doctor persona so he can get acting work. Is there some great demand for evil doctor roles? I don't get it.

As much as I hate to say it, the show is not tanking. The rating are going up all the time. BB2 was first in its time slot for three out for four of the last shows.

The banner value of 7 represents the number of HOUSEHOLDS viewing the show.(7 actually represents 7 x 1.02 Million Households.) Some viewing households have more than one person viewing the show. The actual number of people viewing the show has been in the 9 to 12 million range.

Ocean_Islands, Well shall we begin to discuss "demographics"? Shall we talk about the fact that the show is slotted against endless Summer re-runs? There are clues and there are clues...personally, I think it was Colonel Justin in the kitchen with a knife.

Will asked BB today for verification that they were "still on the air". He is no fool. The show is a dog that makes only fair ratings given that it's up against re-runs. Will might actually do okay in LA though because he is funny and the camera loves him.

I don't understand this thread....isn't there another thread (" Oh No! Moonie is considering a BB3. ") that talks about how well BB2 is doing, even pointing to an article where Moonves states that BB3 is a distinct possibility because of the success of BB2?

The exposure HG's get on this show can acually help to some degree. Ever see old clips of now famous stars on game shows 10 years ago? Several were on the dating game for example. Actors go for exposure anyway they can get it. It is a long road and these smaller gigs are a small step but a step nonetheless. Keith is getting a cookbook published, Jeff Varner has local La reporter gig, Jamie is working.

This show has pretty good ratings and could help in some small way. I think Krista and Will may benefit before the others.

We only see bigger stars on TV, it doesn't mean that BB1 Hg's are not benefiting in ways not obvious to us.
