Home|News|Cast|Recaps Episode 3 "True Colors" 3/8/04 Michael gets the green apple (most desirable) and a phone call from Ruth. He finds out that the Green Apple is 'good' this time. He gets 2 coins from each male (Total of $8,000) and gets to go to dinner with all the women. Brooke and Matt get into it - Matt comments to the camera that he initially flirted with Brooke but now she has blown him off. Its pretty obvious Matt is really drunk. Matt and Brooke continue to verbally abuse each other and in the end neither looks very nice - though Matt does seem to look the worst. At the dinner the men (except Michael) eat dinner together and make fun of the ladies and Michael eating nearby. The women and Michael in turn snicker at the guys. The women eat what they say is the best meal yet, the guys (except Michael) get a platter of peanut butter sandwiches. Ruth arrives to the womens table and announces Michael must choose two women to join him for a day of "pampering." He chooses Brooke and Neveen. Back from commercial Neveen pours out her heart to Kassie about her father - that he doesn't show affection towards her. She says she has never seen her parents cuddle or anything. Kassie consoles her and the two seem to connect. Everyone is gathered at the pool the next day - Michael, Neveen and Brooke take off on a raft for their day of pampering. As soon as they leave Ruth arrives and tells the remaining contestants that the remaining four women have to decide between Neveen and Brooke on who to banish. If they cannot agree then Neveen and Brooke will pick one of the other women to be banished. Liz is immune. While Michael and Co. toast with champagne on their little getaway, the other debate between Neveen and Brooke - the decision must be unanimous. Most of them say they want to keep Brooke - but Khalilah says that Neveen is "my girl" and she will not vote to kick Neveen off. As Brooke gets a massage nearby, Michael tells Neveen that Brooke would be his first choice for someone to "get together with." (Brooke asked him). David talks to Khalilah and she says she will not decide now - it is her decision not to decide (she won't choose either). So the others feel that Neveen and Brooke will end up making the decision to eliminate one of them. Kassie and Shawna go to talk to talk to Khalilah - she again will not budge on her decision. Kassie says she is torn because she is friends with both girls but wants Brooke to stay more. Jordan and others discuss the banishment, they talk about how Khalilah says she will not change her vote. Jordon goes out to Matt and Khalilah and tells Khalilah that she needs to realize that if she will not agree with them to vote out Neveen that either she, Kassie or Shawna will be voted out. Again Kahlilah sticks to her guns and says she knows and doesn't care. Kassie calls Khalilah to her room - Shawna and Kahlilah continue to go around and around - then Kassie Joins in again - Khalilah keeps saying she does not care if she goes, she is not changing her vote, on and on and on...........(imagine what this was like when it wasn't edited, blah blah blah blah blah - yikes!!!). Cut back to Brooke, Neveen and Michael eating dinner - Brooke speaks to the camera about how great it has been, that she comes from a small town and is not used to all of this (the luxury). The three of them agree its been very relaxing. Back at the compound, the men and women get ready for the nighs banishment ceremony and we hear the women reflecting on having to choose between Brooke and Neveen - Kassie speaking about how hard it was and that she hopes she made the wrong decision. At dinner the ladies vote on who should stay - Shawna, Liz and Kassie want Brooke to stay. Khalilah says she wants Neveen to stay so apparently Neveen and Brooke will choose Kassie, Kahlilah or Shawna to go home (unless there is yet another twist). Kahlilah storms off in a huff not wanting to discuss it anymore. Michael, Neveen and Brooke arrive and realize there is a banishment ceremony beginning just as they return. Ruth greets them. Ruth points out that Kahlilah is not present (ut oh) - never the less the ceremony will continue. Ruth re-caps the reason Michael and the women were gone. She explains to the ladies that one of the two ladies must go home, selected by the rejected women. Ruth tells Liz, Kassie and Shawna to select who to banish. Shawna - Neveen
Ruth tells Brooke she is saved and Neveen that she has been selected for banishment. HOWEVER (says Ruth) - there is a message from Kahlilah that she wants everyone to see. So they all watch a flat screen that happens to be at the banishment ceremony and we see that Kahlilah has taped a message. Kahlilah says she has chosen to sacrifice herself rather than allow her (Neveen) to be banished. Much tears ensue...... Ruth says that if you leave you give up your money and that Kahlilah left it all to Neveen - making her the richest person in the group ($18,000). Four more coins for each person will be handed out in the morning and a new person will arrive. As the show ends we see Neveen talking smack about the women - she is not a happy camper to say the least. Jason from Scottsdale, a bartender is show in the teaser for next week - next week he is voted the first "Adam" and apparently gets to select an "Eve" - it appears a man will be eliminated next week. |
