- a wonderful person watching the show sent me this recap of Episode 8...

Episode 8 - "Worst
nightmare" Starts
with recap of episode 7 ----- Michelle
& Ruth are at the cauldron/fire/tree. Michelle voice over "my name
is Michelle I'm 21 and live in Brooklyn. I don't really work coz I like
to party. I describe myself as very opinionated and basiclly whatever I'm
thinking I say, regardless of what others think" ----- Pans
to Michelle leaving cauldron and walking along beach to 'resort'. As
she nears the camera flips back n forth between the guys and girls
Male
voices: "somebodies coming" , "hmmmmmmmmmmmmm" Jordan says "down tiger"
Girls
have a squizz (Kassie, Claudia & Brooke). Brooke says "she looks like
a hottie"
Jason
& David: "check her out" male
voice: "what a heffer" then camera shot of the two of them sneering Jordan
says something about skanky girls but not sure if he was referring to Michelle
or the girls already there
"what's
up girl" yells Kassie to Michelle another
of the girls mutters something like "dang those things are big" gaping
mouth shot of Kassie, Liz has a weird look on her face to a look of nothingness Neveen
has a sour puss look on her face [must have been sucking a lemon]
a
little bit of chit chat amongst the girls. Kassie asks Michelle if she's
nervoius "a little" replies Michelle
Liz
says they are having party tonight. Some
inaudible chatter about finding out the trash and then Michelle gets up,
throws an air type kiss at the girls and goes off to meet the boys.
After
Michelle has left Liz comments" i'm so mad, now that somebody has bigger
boobs than me on the island" then laughs and says "i'm kidding, i'm kidding"
over
to the boys Michelee:
"hi guys", introduces herself. "Hi Matt", "how'd you know my name retorts
Matt" (michelle voiceover says she has watched a few episodes). Chatter
amongst Michelle & boys
pans
back to girls Brooke? says "do you think her double d's are double b's"
Kassie says "the're double whoas"
back
to guys Jordan
has some chit chat with Michelle aboutdramas and says dramas will come
sonn enough
Michelle
leaves to go back to the girls
After
she's gone Matt says something about "right up Jason's alley" Jason
says "I don't think her boobs are too big, they are like shelves" Jordan
giggles to himself then makes gestures like boobs sticking out like shelvves
"time
to get dirty" says Matt or Dave
Michelle
is back with the girls and says "tell me about the boys"
the
girls want to know what she knows first so Michelle describes a couple
of the boys "Matt
is a sweet heart , [something inaudible] then drams dramas dramas" "Blondie
(Wallace) is...." [not quite sure what she said that bloody Brooklyn accent] "David
- he's adorable but very shy"
then
onto who's hooked up with who
The
girls tell her that Kassie is hooked up with Matt. The camera shows Brooke
and a Brooke voiceover says that she has hooked up with Wallace the last
few nights but they are keeping it quiet so the others won't get jealous. ----- Next
scene and the girls and Michelle go to her room. She is staying with Wallace.
General chit chat about having to go through Wallace's room to get to the
bathroom Michelle
confessional: Michelle says Wallace is the only guy she is interested in
coz he's hot shot
of Michelle habging her name on the door ----- Michelle
& Wallace are walking along a path. Something about Michelle coming
there to stir up trouble. Michelle giggles/agrees. Michelle: " I have to
pick who will be my target" Wallace:
"I dopn't like trouble so don't pick me as your target" Michelle:
i will leave you for later" ----- Michelle
confessional: "people here are already intimdated by me and I think they
should be" ----- pans
to main resort area? billowy white curtains, billowy white roof, ta-daaaa,
they are in a bedroom. looks like Neveen, David? Matt and Cassie Matt
taunts Neveen that she is a hater. Neveen protests. Neveen
confessional: "I don't like michelle one bit. Everyone was nice to her
and saying she's a nice person. She looks like a skank"
back
n forth between the two. Matt: "hater, hater, hater". Neveen says that
Michelle rubbed her the wrong way.
Matt
confessional: "chicks are chicks, they know this girls come to stir up
trouble. The guys love it... let's see some drama ----- dinner
time - two tables of six. looks like table's seated as Wallace,
Michelle, Neveen, David, Liz, Jason? Claudia,
Brooke, Matt, Kassie, Jordan, Chris?
Having
dinner and Neveen brings up the analysing game. Michelle agrees to give
her opinion about the girls. Claudia is nice, a little too friendly. Brooke
is the bad girl and not to be mean but probaly the most loose (shocked
look from Brooke, voice over that since it was said by a trashy girl she
wasn't concerned).Kassie is miss popularity and miss personality and I
can't say anything bad about you at the moment. Liz is ok to be her self
[something like that]. Neveen is a vulgar and dirty dirty little girl.
Then
Michelle wants to know what they think of her. She wants them to be honest
as possible coz "that's all I respect is honesty"
Neveen
says "when i first saw you I was 'great, here comes a trick' and the bad
thibng I said about you was you looked like you had a whole MAC counter
on (ie truckloads of makeup). Michelle
confessional: spoke about Neveens makeup comment anfd that Neveen is a
clown and comments about her blue eyeshadow and orange lipstick
back
to the dinner table... Matt or Chris asks why she is wild. Michelle responds
that she is wild in a classy sort of way and that she doesn't set out to
be vulgar.
Ruth
rocks up. Asks Michelle about how her first day was to which Michelle responds
"interesting" Ruth
says there will be a coupling ceremony soon and that "couples will be of
a great significance and now might be a good time to make absolutely certain
who your friends are"
after
dinner... ----- Cladia
sasy to one of the other girls that Jordan asked if she would be his couple.
Then Jasone and Neveen hook up as a couple. A quick 'round the room tally
shows that Claudia/Jordan, Jason/Neveen, Kassie/Matt and David/Liz are
coupled leaving Michelle, Wallace, Brooke, Chris uncoupled. Michelle
asks Wallace to be her couple and he hesitates then says maybe. [he
ain't looking to keen about it]. Michelle mentions something about her
being immune and whoever she picks is immune so she was helping him out.
Various chatter around the bar and then Michelle lasks Chris to be a coupl.
Chris retorts back somethiong about being second choice. Michelle leaves
to go for a wlak on the beach. Jordan joins her and they swing on the hammock.
Michelle repeats to Jordan comment about immunity for Wallace. -----
later
in the room... Michelle
and Wallace discussing the couple thing. Wallace says he doesn't want to
be responsible for choosing a couple to be banished which is why he hesitated
about being her couple. They
have words back n forth and Wallace says she's acting like a 15 tr old.
more words and Michelle skulks off to go play with the other 15 yr olds -----
Michelle
and Chris have a late night feet dangle in the pool session. They discuss
coupling and agree to be a couple. -----
time
for nite nite... lights out... shots of... Kassie
and Matt canoodling under the covers Neveen
doing her moisturiser Jordan
liening in bed alone Liz
and David canoodling
Michelle
and Wallace chat in their romm and Wallace announceshe needs to 'make a
round'. Wallace
departs and makes a beeline for Brooke's. They
discuss that Wallace shouldn't stay with Brooke and leave michelle on her
own the first night. Wallace reassures Brooke that Michelle is not his
type and he won't be trying to hook up with her. smooch
smooch smooch and then off he goes to his own room ----- upon
his return there's a brief Michelle & Wallace discussion thern cuts
to Michelle
confessional: "Wallace os getting what he needs fofrm Brooke. Brooke is
a pig, and Wallace is using Brooke to get what he wants" -----
a
new day dawns... splish
splash, various people in the water at the beach, in the pool, on the jetty
thing.
Then
she emerges... Michelle appears across the pool in an orange bikini top
and white hotpants [might even have heels on too]. As she wanders on by
the pool the girls are sunbaking, Michelle wanders past then almost as
an afterthought says "how do I get to the medic"
Kassie
and Brooke jump up and they follow Michelle back to her room
Episode
8 - "Worst nightmare" back
in Michelles room... ----- Michelle
announces that her impalnt has broken and that it is leaking everywhere.
Shows them the bathroom floor and there's gunk on the fllor, Kassie has
to get out of the bathroom cos poor lass has a weak stomach.
Hawke,
the Eden medic arrives.
Michelle
shows him the incision mark that is leaking and he tells her to stay lying
down and to keep clean dry dressings on it. Michelles is a sobbing blubbering
mess.
Hawke
says she will be Ok and they need to get her to see her doctor and get
ir replaced. "here" says Michelle". Hawke: "in the interest of your
best level of care we need to fly you out.
"whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
moans Michelle. She's
none to pleased about being sent home and has a half tanty [not much she
can do when she's stuck on her back cos her boob is leaking all over the
place]. Hawke says her health is the most important thing. "to you maybe"
retorts Michelle. Hawke
disagrees and says her health shhould be important to her.
Hawke
leaves
Wallace
comes in and Michelle tells him she's going home.
sob
sob and all the rest
Michelle
says "i'm not ruing my bathing suit am I?" Brooke says no ti's orange and
lucky it's not white
Michelle
laments to Kassie and Brooke that she only just got here and didn't get
to make any trouble yet.
Wallace
wanders by the pool and says" we've had our first bit of bad news [or something
like that] tells
Claudia, Neveen, Liz and a couple of the guys that Michelle has had trouble
with her surgery and is leaving. Neveen responds with " are we getting
somebody new" to which Wallace reponds "that's not really the issue right
now Neveen" The bloke in the pool (Dsvid?) says "yeah"
Wallace
confessional: has a few words about Neveen's insentive comment.
Claudia
gets up and says she's going to saya a prayer for her. Neveen responds
with "that's nice".
Wallace
and David go to see Michelle in her room. Claudia brings her some hand
picked flowers. Michelle
comments about feeling like she's in hospital also
says something about not letting anyone vulgar in her room [meaning Neveen]
Wallace
& David leave.
Michelle
sobs more, tells the girls (Kassie, Brooke, Claudia) that in her confessional
Neveen had said they were all bitches cuts
to Neveen video where she says they are Neveen
comes in to visit. Michelle looks none to impressed. Jordan
comes in and makes a joke to Michelle "so I suppose sex is out of the question" giggles
all round Jason
comes in, another joke.. "see look what you've done Jason, all that talk
about sex all the time" more giggles
TIme
for the guys and gals to leave. As she gets up Neveen says "I'm sorry I
didn't go out of my way to get to know you" then kisses her on the forehead
[ lucky for Neveen that Michelle was not quite feeling up to anything or
I think she would have snotted her]. everyone
has left and then you see Michelle on her bed having a teary phonecall
with her sister Christine [involved lots of blubbering] ----
Later
that day (It think) Michelle emerges almost unrecognisable [no make up
and she's clothed from neck to knees]. She bids her farewells to everyone
with hugs, kisses etc for evryone except Neveen [ and this doesn't go un-noticed].
Off
to the departure tree, Michelle hangs her name. A nice little confessional
from Claudia and Brooke? about Michelle [so sweet! puke puke]
Michelle
sits in the raft thingy and off she is paddle d up the river... -----
later
back in the bar?
Jason
says he thinks he's going home and if he is still there the next day he
will shave his head.
later
back in the rooom Neveen sleeps in... the girls (really it was Kassie)
ask Neveen about her 'bitches' comment. Neveen says yes, that was when
they were trying to banish her... yada yada yada. Neveen leaAves and Matt
says people are really getting fed up with her [Neveen]. -----
At
the Banishment temple... Ruth
goes over [and over] about how they must choose couples and at the end
of the ceremony anyone without a partner will be banished. Since there's
five girls and six guys a guy will be left on the outer...
David
chooses Liz first "that's not surprising" says Ruth Matt
chooses Kassie Wallace
chooses Brooke Chris
chooses Claudia Jason
chooses Neveen Jordan
chooses Claudia. Claudia
now has a bloke on either arm. Ruth
sends the 'coupls' back to where the blokes were standing so there back
is to the beach and they face the temple. Ruth
says Claudia must choose one of the boys to stay. Jordan had made a crack
about him choosing Claudia as he hoped she would be true to her commitment
[earlier they had agreed to be a couple].
Claudia
chooses Jordan. the two line up with the other couples. Chris is left standing
on his own, out front to the right of everyone else.
Ruth
says" Chris, as I said before anyone without a partner at the end of the
ceremony would be banished............... big long pause..................time
for Chris to be banished..................and then.........................
now
I could start another email but that would be really mean :0)
Ruth
says...... "this ceremnony isn't over yet"
from
out of the jungle appears a plasma TV with a special video message from
Michelle.
Seems
Michelle was awarded special privileges and is able to replace herself
with....
MIchelle
video says anyone who was mean to her in the last few hours will be ruing
it now cos she's sending someone in to do her dirty work [or something
along those lines]. Neveen don't look too happy [hahahahahahaha]
As
all of this is going on a boat has arrived (I think?) and you see a silhoutte
of someone arriving.
The
video ends and Ruth announces that Michelle has decided to replace herself
with...... a
former guest.
The
camera pans around the group and the mouths drop open. Ruth
announces the new guest has arrived and in walks a girl who stands next
to Chris and links arms. [you see who this is on camera but since you can't
see it I get to tease a bit] They
then swap to video of this former guest with each of the guys in a not
so pleasant scenario. At the end of all this Ruth says " Welcome Shauna"
and she replies thank you.
